25 million people spent $7 billion while shopping online for the holidays. 90% of the online shoppers reported that they were satisfied with their experience. Four percent of the survey respondents indicated they would decrease their online spending in 2000 while 35% reported they were encouraged by their experience and were likely to increase their online spending. 2. americangreetings.com. 848,000 unique buyers; 5,814,000 unique visitors
3. cdnow.com. 698,000 unique buyers; 6,451,000 unique visitors
4. barnes&noble.com. 377,000 unique buyers; 6,354,000 unique visitors
5. egghead.com. 368,000 unique buyers; 2,220,000 unique visitors
6. ticketmaster.com. 298,000 unique buyers, 2,866,000 unique visitors
7. more.com. 296,000 unique buyers, 1,383,000 unique visitors
8. iprint.com. 247,000 unique buyers, 3,381,000 unique visitors
9. buy.com. 219,000 unique buyers, 2,378,000 unique visitors
10. drugstore.com. 200,000 unique buyers, 1,657,000 unique visitors

Internet traffic was heaviest on Saturday's in a study of 100,000 web sites conducted by WebSideStory from January 30 to February 5, 2000. The days of the week, in order from the most to least traffic:
1. Saturday -- 15.5%
2. Friday -- 15.4%
3. Thursday -- 14.4%
4. Sunday -- 14.0%
5. Monday -- 13.7%
6. Tuesday -- 13.6%
7. Wednesday -- 13.4%
